Located across both Charlotte County and Sarasota County, Englewood is a vibrant coastal area filled with activities, events, and local charm—especially from November through May when the season is in full swing.
One of the highlights is the popular Englewood Farmers Market, held every Thursday along Dearborn Street. This lively market stretches across multiple venues and features fresh produce, delicious food vendors, handmade crafts, clothing, collectibles, and unique one-of-a-kind finds. Live music often fills the air, whether from a stage performance or nearby restaurants and bars, creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere.
During the winter and spring months, visitors can also enjoy a weekly artist fair on Wednesdays, showcasing talented local artists and their work. On the first Saturday of each month, Dearborn Street comes alive with a classic car show—offering a fun mix of nostalgia, photo opportunities, and community excitement.
The area is also home to a wide variety of restaurants and food vendors that cater to the many visitors these events attract. Whether you’re shopping, dining, or simply enjoying the entertainment, there’s truly something for everyone.
