Parks & Beaches

Calm beach with gentle waves and clear blue sky.

Our Many Local Beaches and Parks

Manasota Key and nearby Englewood offer a variety of beautiful beaches—some along the Gulf’s open shoreline and others nestled on the calm waters of Lemon Bay. Each provides plenty of space to relax in the sun, fish, search for shells and shark teeth, kayak, hike, and enjoy the natural surroundings.

With a focus on the Gulf to Bay community, we’ve highlighted the beaches closest to the property—

most just a convenient 5–10 minute drive away. While many locations offer ample parking,

some have smaller lots, so spaces can be limited during peak tourist season.

Manasota Key/Englewood Beaches

Manasota Key is home to several beautiful state beaches, offering miles of pristine Gulf shoreline. Many feature amenities such as pavilions, grills, restrooms, and courts for volleyball and basketball—perfect for gatherings, picnics, or a relaxing day by the Gulf waters.

Parking availability varies by location, so planning ahead is recommended. Beyond the beach, some parks also provide access to Lemon Bay, adding even more opportunities for kayaking, fishing, and exploring. With abundant wildlife, excellent fishing, and endless ways to enjoy the outdoors, Manasota Key’s beaches truly offer something for everyone.

Englewood Parks

There are some great parks located around Lemon Bay in Englewood, some rather remote while others provide restrooms, pavilions, parking, fishing piers and more.  There are several located on the north side of Lemon Bay including the Rotary Sunrise Park, Indian Mound State Park, Cherokee Park and others.  Indian Mound State Park has boat ramps and is a popular spot for launching a boat, walking the bay shore, fishing, enjoying a picnic and some quiet time with a view.  Others offer access to the water for fishing or watching the wildlife.
